Leukemia - How is Jemma? - Day 186
Phase 2A started on Monday and I am shocked how quickly the side effects from the medication have begun. Almost immediately Jemma's appetite increased. This morning she woke up two hours earlier than normal because she was hungry.
Throughout much of the day she had this expressionless stare on her face. She seemed very tired and low on energy.
Then she took a nap. She probably needed it from both her early morning and the medication. Hopefully these symptoms we can see on the outside are a sign that the medication is doing its job on the inside.
