Swimming in the Adriatic Sea

The weather in Dubrovnik, Croatia was hot! Stifling hot. Approaching 100 degrees. Walking on the wall around the city was fun, gorgeous and hot. The water was blue, beautiful and inviting.

There are several locations just outside the wall with easy access to the water, and we couldn't resist the opportunity to take a dip.

Well the water was cold! Heart stopping cold. You know how sometimes it's hard to breath when you jump into a lake or a swimming pool.

What a lovely afternoon.
