Due to Jemma's Leukemia we decided not to visit the pumpkin patch last year. It's a family tradition and the kids were thrilled to go again.
Although Halloween isn't celebrated, we live in a community with lots of Americans and do go trick-o-treating. The experience is very different than trick-o-treating in the United States. In the past hand-fulls of candy have been dumped into the kids bags at some houses. Others are unprepared, since Halloween isn't celebrated, and rummage through candy drawers looking for a treat. Everyone seems to have fun and it has been an enjoyable experience.
While visiting the hospital this week Jemma learned to knit. Her blood was stable and her medication was slightly increased. We will visit again in two weeks.
Sunday morning we bundled up and headed to the tennis court.
Then followed it up with a hike.
