Christmas Traditions for Kids - Entertaining and Educational

Does your family have simple and unique holiday traditions? I would love to hear about them.

Angelic Scalliwags posted a Holiday tradition which really caught my eye. Each year she wraps 25 winter/Christmas books. The kids get to open one per day to read. It's so simple and so exciting for the kids! Not only that, it could be used to count down the days to a variety of holidays or special events.
