Torch Walk

Sports clubs in Germany tend to have many traditional celebrations. The annual torch walk, which covers about two miles, is a tradition of the tennis club.

I was a little surprised when I discovered the children would be carrying the torches, but very impressed with the way they handled this responsibility. Upon reaching the destination we enjoyed a German favorite - wurst on delicious hamburger-sized rolls as it is always served.
